Following the children’s message in our main service, children ages 3.5 through 5th grade are invited to come downstairs for CF Kids! We have learning environments for both Preschoolers (3.5-Kindergarten) and Elementary-Aged kids which teach kids about Jesus and Scripture at a level they can understand.

During this time children experience the wonder and mystery of God through unique storytelling and multi-sensory materials. We sing, we create and we learn about God’s love as we begin to develop a sense of what it means to worship.

As a church, we want to support you in the best way we can as you raise your little one. That’s why we have parenting resources available on our Children’s Ministry bookshelf in the lobby of our church. Below are a few of the resources we have available for you!

NURSERY

Nursery Ministry is available during our worship service for children ages birth through 3.5 years. Your child will receive excellent care in our CF Kids Nursery and will also begin to hear simple stories and songs about Jesus that introduce them to Him and His amazing love!  

Please check your child in at our CF Kids check in table upstairs and just outside our lobby in the before you bring them to the Nursery.

CF Kids — Frequently Asked Questions

What ages does CF Kids serve?

CF Kids welcomes children from birth through 5th grade. Nursery care (birth–3.5 years) is available during the full service. CF Kids classes (ages 3.5–5th grade) begin after the children’s message in the main service.

Is CF Kids safe? How does check-in work?

Yes! We use a tag and sticker check-in system. When you arrive, stop at the CF Kids check-in table upstairs, just outside the lobby. Your child receives a sticker tag, and you keep the matching parent tag. Children are only released to the person with the matching tag.

Where is CF Kids located inside the church?

CF Kids classes meet downstairs from the main worship area. Check in at the CF Kids table upstairs, just outside the lobby at 4601 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807, before bringing your children downstairs.

What does my child do in CF Kids?

CF Kids offers age-specific environments with storytelling, worship, multi-sensory activities, and Bible teaching about Jesus. Every environment is designed to be engaging, safe, and age-appropriate.

Do I need to register in advance?

No registration needed! Walk-ins are always welcome. Just stop at the CF Kids check-in table when you arrive on Sunday morning.

Is CF Kids available every Sunday at Christ’s Family Church in Davenport?

Yes! CF Kids runs every Sunday at 9:30 AM at Christ’s Family Church, 4601 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807. We serve families from across the Quad Cities including Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, and Rock Island.
