Become a Member at Christ’s Family

At Christ’s Family, membership means more than just checking a box or making a thin commitment to a set of beliefs - it’s committing to a spiritual family. Membership is a declaration that we belong to one another as we follow Jesus together, and it’s where we grow, serve, and carry one another’s burdens together in love.

As members, we partner in God’s mission here in the Quad Cities to reach the lost, and teach the saved to live God’s truth and grow followers of Jesus, and we’re thrilled it’s something you’re considering!

How to Become a Member

  • The Belong Class at Christ’s Family Church is a prerequisite to membership at Christ’s Family Church and is your opportunity to learn more about the history, beliefs, and mission of our church. Our Belong Class takes place every other month on the second Sunday at 11:00 AM in our Family Room. Click the button below to express interest in attending our next Belong Class and a member of our staff will reach out to you with more details.

    Attend Our Next Belong Class

  • Once you’ve taken our Belong Class, you will have an opportunity (presented to you during our Belong Class) to fill out our online Membership Registration Form where you will be asked to provide some basic information about yourself, and to write a God story. This form is required to become a member.

    In different contexts, a "God Story" might be referred to as a "testimony" - basically, it's the story of how you came to know Jesus. This isn’t something our church is “grading,” but something that helps know more about what Jesus has done in your life, and gives us a chance to celebrate your relationship with Him.     Membership Registration Form

  • Once you have submitted the online registration form to become a member at our church, you will be invited to participate in one of our Professions & Baptism (P&B) Services at Christ’s Family Church. P&B services take place every other month (alternating with our Belong Classes) during our Sunday morning worship services. Visit the link below to see when our next Professions & Baptism service is.

    During this service, you and others who are seeking membership at CFC will be invited on stage with our Pastor, Zachary Fraley, and you will have a chance to share a 5-10 second profession of your faith in Jesus to our church. We tell people all the time that this can be simple as stating your name, when you accepted Christ, and your excitement about becoming a member CFC, and that this is a joyful time for your future church family to celebrate you and God’s work in your life.

    After this, and following a list of short affirmation statements from you, other professing members, and our church, you will officially be a member at Christ’s Family Church!
