christ’s family youth

Every Wednesday at 6:30p

Grades 6th - 12th

Basically, we want to see youth truly know Jesus and learn to walk with Him daily. We gather with students weekly for a whole lot of fun and talks about Jesus to make that happen.

Christ’s Family Youth is deeply devoted to seeing the next generation know Jesus in the practice of spiritual formation and follow Him in the daily practice of apprenticeship.

God's truth. The Next Generation.

a youth group for the quad cities

At CFY, we don’t believe we’re the “church of the future.” We believe we’re the church of today, here and now, and of the future.

Therefore, our goal isn’t to prepare to be the church, but to be the church.

For our schools

For our families

For these cities*

what to expect in cfy

our rhythms

Every “year” in cfy kicks off with quest camp, our annual summer camp in Baraboo, WI. Camp sets the tone for the next school year of teaching and is a great opportunity for students new to cfy to discover what we’re all about.

Once the school year begins, midweek resumes. Every Wednesday night we gather from 6:30-8p for games, worship, biblically grounded teaching, and small groups.

Fall riot is up next - one night of chaotic goodness right in the middle of Fall semester where students are invited to a large scale worship night intended to encourage them in their faith. Oh, and we smash a junk yard car in our parking lot.

During spring semester, midweek carries on each Wednesday and winter weekend gives middle and high schoolers the chance to get away for a weekend of worship, fun, community, and discipleship in Maquoketa, IA.

Then, summer arrives. Schools close, cfy takes a break from Midweek to prepare for camp, and everything points toward quest camp where it all starts again.

our people

Cfy is led by an amazing and passionate team of adult leaders made up of staff and volunteers at Christ’s Family Church. Each adult in cfy who engages with students week-in and week-out is fully background checked and excited to meet your middle or high schooler.

Volunteers and leaders in cfy aim to build lasting relationships with students that are all about biblical discipleship, care and support for middle and high schoolers, and serving as a resource for their families.

our focus

Cfy is unapologetically focused on Jesus. We want to know all about Him, and all about what it means to follow Him daily. He is the main thing, and it’s our greatest joy when students understand that and live it out in every area of their lives. each week includes high-energy games and a hangout time, authentic student worship, and a relevant message rooted in Scripture.
